It appears we are well on track to hit May 1 targets of 1,000,000 infected and 60,000 dead, should be there by COB April 29

June 1 targets now 2,000,000 infections and 200,000 dead as USA is still in the acceleration stage due to haphazard lockdown enforcement and rogue states like Florida Texas and Georgia reopening way too soon

Most other countries are seeing significant declines and are planning for an orderly reopening

Ok. From the site you quoted:

The provisional counts for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) deaths are based on a current flow of mortality data in the National Vital Statistics System. National provisional counts include deaths occurring within the 50 states and the District of Columbia that have been received and coded as of the date specified. It is important to note that it can take several weeks for death records to be submitted to National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), processed, coded, and tabulated. Therefore, the data shown on this page may be incomplete, and will likely not include all deaths that occurred during a given time period, especially for the more recent time periods. Death counts for earlier weeks are continually revised and may increase or decrease as new and updated death certificate data are received from the states by NCHS. COVID-19 death counts shown here may differ from other published sources, as data currently are lagged by an average of 1–2 weeks.

"Fauci Estimates That 100,000 To 200,000 Americans Could Die From The Coronavirus

March 29, 20202:17 PM ET

...Fauci said the 100,000-to-200,000 death figure is a middle-of-the-road estimate, much lower than worse-case-scenario predictions.

He said preparing for 1 million to 2 million Americans to die from the coronavirus is "almost certainly off the chart," adding: "Now it's not impossible, but very, very unlikely."

<aside id="ad-backstage-wrap" aria-label="advertisement" style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: inherit; font-family: Georgia, serif; vertical-align: baseline; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"></aside>However, Fauci cautioned people not to put too much emphasis on predictions, noting that "it's such a moving target that you could so easily be wrong and mislead people."

What we do know, he says, is that "we've got a serious problem in New York, we've got a serious problem in New Orleans and we're going to have serious problems in other areas."

OP's title says 2,000,000 infections and 200,000 dead

OP then claims victory, says we're on pace to his projections, 200,000 infections and 60,000 dead

OK, whatever

Most all of April has been around 30,000 new positive tests and 2,000 deaths per day. If that continues through May, it would be over 2,000,000 cases and under 200,000 deaths on June 1. If anyone has a different opinion, and thinks their opinion has any validity, we should bet on those, using https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/. I would go up to $100 on credit on both of those.
